Reports To: Director
- Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation. The IT Executive will provide technical support, implement IT solutions, and contribute to the overall strategic planning of the IT department.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Manage network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and system security measures are in place and functioning effectively.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimize downtime.
- Document and track issues, resolutions, and maintain a knowledge base for common problems.
System Administration:
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Monitor system performance and perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Project Management:
- Assist in planning and implementing IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and implementation of IT services.
Contribute to the development and execution of the IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance IT services and infrastructure.
Training and Development:- Conduct training sessions for employees on IT best practices, security awareness, and new technologies.
Develop and maintain IT documentation, including user manuals, procedures, and guidelines.
Diploma/Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.- Proven experience as an IT Executive or similar role.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and network management.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
