About The Role
Under guidance of a more senior Business Consultant, to translate customer requirements into technical specifications for small to medium size/complexity/system risk projects ensuring customer's business problems are solved.
We are looking for an experienced business analyst who excels in translating business needs and requirements into functionalities and specifications to join our On-Premises tribe at SWIFT, the tribe responsible for developing enterprise applications enabling businesses globally to connect to financial networks.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be working as a member of a dynamic team that is responsible for end-to-end delivery - from customer engagements to operations.

What To Expect
- You will define, analyze, validate and maintain functional requirements by working constructively in close liaison with stakeholders, and in line with evolving business requirements
- You will validate proposed solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with technical solutions
- You will provide technical or relevant business knowledge during all phases of the development and resolve unique and complex business problems, recognizing technical constraints.
- You will understand technological trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to the customers.
- You will challenge the status quo, and think out of the box for alternative/most efficient solutions

- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Documenting and technical writing skills
- Knowledge in collaborative tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, R4J)
- Knowledge of Alliance Warehouse related technologies & tools will be a strong advantage
- Experience with Swift's products and services and/or experience in relevant payments/fintech industry will be an advantage
- Experience in modeling (e.g. UML, BPMN) will be an advantage
University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Business or equivalent
- 3-4 years in a similar capacity
- Knowledge/Experience in Agile software development will be an advantage
