IT Application Specialist

Responsibilities:

1.Managing & recording of IT requirements from the specialist departments, support in the conceptual design and evaluation as well as the procurement and commissioning of new software solutions

2.Preparation of the collected information for our documentation and knowledge management systems

3.Transfer of new software solutions and functional enhancements to regular IT operations

4.Management of licenses and handling of usage metrics for software solutions and cloud applications in cooperation with central license management

5.Taking over patch management for the IT applications supported

6.Second level for the IT applications supported

Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

2.Knowledge of cloud applications, their administration and maintenance

3.Know-how in dealing with applications based on MS Windows

4.High level of communication skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills

5.Independent, careful and results-oriented way of working

6.Good command of the English language
