The IT Application Executiveis primarily responsible for supporting the key revenue generating IT systems across the Khind Group of Companies. These include but are not limited to ERP/WMS/CRM/BI/HRMS/LMS/CMS application systems in a primarily Windows server/client environment. The task involves providing 2nd and 3rd level IT support and project delivery activities for the above key systems, whilst ensuring that day-to-day SLAs are achieved, and availability and performance statistics across the estate are met.
You will also be required to exemplify your best behaviour to your team and work well with other team members in the department/organization and to carry out assignments that are delegated by your superior in a timely manner.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Using technical, customer service and communication skills, deliver high quality IT support critical for achieving business goals.
- Using technical knowledge of Khind Group of Companies IT estate, resolve incidents passed to the Application Support team, according to agreed service levels, with minimal referrals to the IS Manager and IT Lead.
- Act as the 2nd level escalation and referral point for business applications across the globe - including, but not limited to ERP/WMS/CRM/BI/HRMS/LMS/CMS application systems.
- Understand business and user requests, translate those needs into functional and technical solutions, supported through and well documented proposal.
- Be able to identify, priorities and handover key support issues to other members of the extended Application Support team, to ensure appropriate follow the sun time zone coverage.
- Undertake appropriate data maintenance and data correction tasks.
- Ensure that all Data Protection Principals and PCI DSS requirements are complied with across the operations of the business applications.
- Create and update knowledge base documents for known fixes and processes and add them to the knowledge base library.
- Deliver well planned Change Request (CR) to fix faults, and to introduce improvements to the IT estate.
- Support the Problem Management process ensuring appropriate problem ownership and investigation.
- Support the delivery of IT projects, both through the implementation and post live support, ensuring consistency of delivery.
- APPLICATION SUPPORT
- Provide 2nd & 3rd line support for key business systems across the globe, (including ERP/WMS/CRM/BI/HRMS/LMS/CMS application systems) to agreed service levels, ensuring high levels of availability are maintained.
Support the delivery of IT projects both through their implementation and through post live support.
- Be a source of expert knowledge for ERP/WMS/CRM/BI/HRMS/LMS/CMS application systems.
- Ensure that appropriate levels of IT technical support are provided to the business in line with our 5-day support/service commitment and at times, working weekends, public holidays, and evenings/early mornings as necessary to support the business.
- Build quality relationships with key contacts within Khind Group of Companies business.

To Be a Successful Candidate: - A minimum of Bachelors Degree or Diploma in computer related discipline
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Chinese ability in oral and writing will be an added advantage.
3 years+ of progressive IT Application experience; on phone, remote and preferably some desktop support.- You will need to be proficient in Microsoft operating systems. Exposure to Active Directory (AD) will be an
added advantage
. A good understanding of the typical interaction of ERP/WMS/CRM/BI/HRMS/LMS/CMS applications and their underlying technologies.
- Good understanding of business processes in terms of financial, inventory, manufacturing, sales, procurement, service, and project.
Prior experience in programming and SQL knowledge and Infor LN System will be an added advantage
, especially from Manufacturing Industry.- You are familiar with and have worked in an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) environment.
You are open to a rotating on-call roster.
- Ability to balance and prioritise incident support responsibilities with project activities.
