Work with and teach children with special needs and disabilities- Create and apply appropriate curricula and assign activities specific to each students abilities and needs. Teachers also involve each students academic, social and behavioural development.
Teachers will assist in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student. The Individualized Education Plan is designed to develop individual goals for the student and is modified to the students abilities and needs.
- Teachers can work independently to review the IEP with the childs parents. They work very closely with parents to keep them updated on progress and make recommendations to promote learning in the home.
Select teaching methods and support resources to enable individual learners to maximize their potential for independent living.
Candidates must possess at least a diploma or bachelors degree in psychology, child development, education, or special education- An added advantage for those who have at least 1-year working experience in the related position
Candidates must demonstrate fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, as proficiency in these languages is required to teach the respective subjects.
- Preferably with working experience in the related field, however, fresh graduates passionate about teaching special needs children are welcome.
A positive, passionate, learning attitude is a must!
