About The Role
We are excited to offer an internship opportunity within Principal's Islamic Investment team, providing a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of investment. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about economics, market research and finance.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting economic research to analyse market trends, investment opportunities and potential risks.
- Assisting in the preparation of economic write-ups and reports
- Supporting the team in updating market data, including stock prices, interest rates and economic indicators
- Supporting the team to gather and analyse data for investment decision-making
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Investment department
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess or must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Marketing / Economics or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Power Point, Excel, Word
- Willing to be based in KL City Center
- Able to commit to an internship period of at least 3 months
