INTERNSHIP: AQUACULTURE TECHNICIAN (TANJUNG DAWAI)

INTAKE: NOVEMBER 2024 ONWARDS

• REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Aquaculture, Biology, Marine Science and others related to the course.

• Poses the knowledge of aquaculture and fisheries

Have a responsibility and self-discipline

• Hardworking and eager to learn

Own a transport

• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Feeding and Nutrition: Assist in the preparation and distribution feed to aquatic species. Monitor feeding behavior and adjust feeding regimes.

Water Quality Management: Help maintain water quality parameters. Conduct water quality tests.Pond and Paddle Wheel Maintenance: Clean and maintain ponds, Install paddle wheel. Perform regular water exchanges, gravel vacuuming, and algae control.

• Disease Management: Monitor aqua live for signs of illness or disease. Assist in administering treatments and medications.

Data Collection: Record and document important data regarding aqua live procedure.

Stocking and Harvesting: Assist in the stocking aquatic organisms into appropriate rearing systems. Participate in harvesting and processing operations.
