- Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Air Conditioning/Electrical Intern to join our facilities management team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for students pursuing a Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to gain practical experience. The intern will assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks, contributing to the smooth operation and efficiency of our facility's air conditioning and electrical systems.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and electrical systems.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC and electrical equipment.
Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure systems are operating efficiently.- Help with the installation and wiring of electrical components and systems.
Aid in the calibration and testing of HVAC controls and electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Document maintenance activities, repair logs, and system performance records.
Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing to the design and implementation of system upgrades and improvements.- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance and repair activities.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in HVAC and electrical systems.
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Basic knowledge of air conditioning systems, electrical circuits, and related components.
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of HVAC and electrical systems.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
Previous internship or project experience in a related field.
- Basic understanding of building automation systems and controls.
Hands-on experience in a professional facilities management environment.
