International Trade Compliance Manager

Clients engage RGP for expertise in delivering large and complex projects to strengthen their business. We have an interim International Trade Manager opportunity within the high-tech sector where you will assist in the navigation of international trade. This role ensures regulatory adherence while facilitating seamless global operations.

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Lead product and technology classification under Export Administration Regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule regulations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive export control policies.
• Manage daily export and customs compliance with precision.
• Handle licensing requirements, secure export licenses, and conduct audits.
• Deliver tailored trade compliance training to teams.
• Maintain detailed compliance records and adapt to regulatory changes.
• Drive process improvements using compliance tools.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. Past experience of compliance within manufacturing or high-tech industries
2. Some experience of international trade law
3. Experience in creating compliance policies and training programs.
4. Effective collaboration with government agencies and internal teams.
5. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
