How will you make an impact in this role

The International CSP Analyst will be a member of the CEG team and will be responsible for executing initiatives and activities in the market colleague plan (HR Strategic Plan) to drive a consistent colleague experience and support the business. While demonstrating the American Express Leadership Behaviors and Blue Box Values, this colleague will:

Support the Malaysia Intl. CSP team in the execution of initiatives to deliver against the Market Colleague Plan.

Continuously seek opportunities to deliver the highest quality of colleague experience

Drive the proactive and data-driven trend identification and solutions to support CEG and business strategies.

Key player in driving the overall colleague experience for our Malaysia based colleagues.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:


Leading the development and delivery of key projects and impactful programs supporting local and global CEG priorities, partnering with key collaborators across CEG (including Centers of Excellence) and the business.

Partnering with business leaders and teams to support their strategic colleague needs, including organizational change support.

Leading the analysis and insights of trends across the full colleague lifecycle, including our Colleague Experience Survey, ensuring we remain future focused and informed by data and facts.

Identifying difficulties in colleague processes, developing recommendations, and implementing solutions that focus on improvement, innovation, and agility.

Supporting the design and execution of colleague and leader communications, presentations, and engagement forums.

Supporting strategic external branding initiatives (workplace/employer awards), global and locally driven diversity and inclusion initiatives, as well as internal branding at the market level.

Learning and Development Developing the best talent is one of our strategic imperatives and the analyst will support this through the execution of our early talent programs and administrative support to our L&D function), learning assessment/evaluation, and delivery. Supporting International CSP to collaborate with HRDC, Global Learning team on L&D. Support and build infrastructure on HRDC utilization.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead the design & execute our market DE&I strategic commitments as well as optimizing the impact of our Colleague Networks to strengthen our culture of inclusion and belonging.

Strengthen our culture of conduct Risk, Performance & Change Management through driving leader accountability and effective deployment of Risk mitigation initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a minimum of 3 years work experience in HR preferably as an HRBP
Demonstrated project management skills: ability to handle multiple, complex projects, events, and tasks, and prioritize accordingly, with a proven track record to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills- ability to engage and manage a class virtually and/or face to face setting. Able to cascade complex messages in simple form and tailor messages to audience, both written and verbal.

Organizational skills and strong stakeholder management- able to navigate matrixed relationships, manage multiple stakeholders, and organize resources to deliver desired outcomes

Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and demonstrate them to drive outcomes.

Demonstrates a keen curiosity about understanding the business, market trends and financial drivers in the industries in which American Express competes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; uses data insights and trends to inform and influence. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, to navigate Excel formulas and pivot tables in Excel and navigate PowerPoint tools to build visually meaningful presentations and content.
