JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our Digital Product team and assist with the delivery of key projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about Chinese media and digital product management and is eager to learn about the latest trends and media practices in the field. Upon completion of internship, you will have a good understanding on managing a digital product on top of understanding on Chinese news and entertainment landscape of Malaysia. You will be exposed to multiple digital products under the Astro group and be familiarized with collaboration tool such as JIRA, analytics tool such as Google Analytics and Content Management System.

REQUIREMENTS:

Key tasks include:

• Support in Product Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product requirements and features, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

• Support in user Research: Support in conducting user research and gather feedback to inform product decisions and improve user experience.

• Support in Market Analysis: Support in performing market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product innovation.

• Support in documentation: Support the creation and maintenance detailed product documentation, including user stories and acceptance criteria

• Support in Quality Assurance: Support the QA process by reviewing and testing product features to ensure they meet the required standards.

Candidate Specification

Your skills and experience

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong interest in digital products, user experience, and technology trends.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.

• A team player who can work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output.

• Ability to conduct Chinese market research,analyse data, and draw actionable insights.

• Experience using Chinese social media platforms such as XiaoHongShu.

• Regularly consume Chinese news.
