Intern Daycare Teacher

Job Summary

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and engaging learning environment. As an Intern, you will gradually be given opportunities and responsibilities to help you meet your training requirements and develop the competencies needed for effective teaching.

• Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Preparation of Class Lessons: Develop and prepare fun and educational lesson plans for different subjects based on childrens needs and learning levels.

• Student Check-In: Oversee daily check-in process, ensuring students transition smoothly from school to the daycare centre.

Tuition Class: Teach key academic subjects to help students improve their learning and understanding, in line with school curricula.

• Homework Coaching Classes: Assist students with their homework, ensuring they understand the material and complete their assignments correctly.

PBL (Project-Based Learning) Class: Develop and run project-based learning activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork.

• Academic and Discipline Progress: Track and manage students academic performance and behaviour, update parents regularly and implement necessary interventions.

Facility Maintenance: Keep the centre clean and tidy to ensure a safe and effective learning place.

• Flyers Distribution: Distribute flyers to inform the community about the centres services and events.

Center Events Coordination: Assist in organizing and executing events like Open Days, Childrens Day, festive celebrations and other activities to engage the community and students.

• Holiday Programs: Plan fun and educational activities for kids during school holidays.

• JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Qualifications

Minimum of a Diploma, Degree or equivalent or Education in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.

• Experience

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; comprehensive training provided.

• Previous experience as a teacher or in a similar educational role is preferred.

• Language

Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu.

• Skills

Patience, flexibility and love for children.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents and colleagues.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities.
