Intern (Chemist)

Job Overview

NGL Tech is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern with a Chemisty background to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in climate technology, specifically in our carbon capture product. The Intern will have a holistic experience touching on numerous aspects of the business as we take it from lab pilot to field pilot to commercialization.

• Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Assistance: Support our lead Chemist in conducting experiments related to algae cultivation and carbon capture, including preparing samples, maintaining lab equipment, and documenting procedures

Data Collection: Assist in collecting, recording, and analyzing experimental data to support ongoing research and development projects

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential applications and market opportunities for algae-based products such as nutritional supplements, livestock feed, biofuels, and bioplastics.

Application Exploration: Gather information on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products to help explore new applications for cultivated algae.

Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks, including organizing files, preparing reports etc

Collaboration: Work closely with the research and development team to support project goals and contribute to the success of our sustainability initiatives.

• Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing a _degree in Chemistry_

Skills: Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with standard lab equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough market research and analyze data.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities effectively.

Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Enthusiasm: Passion for sustainability and interest in climate technology.
