Job OverviewNGL Tech is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern with a Chemisty background to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in climate technology, specifically in our carbon capture product. The Intern will have a holistic experience touching on numerous aspects of the business as we take it from lab pilot to field pilot to commercialization.
Laboratory Assistance
: Support our lead Chemist in conducting experiments related to algae cultivation and carbon capture, including preparing samples, maintaining lab equipment, and documenting procedures
Data Collection
: Assist in collecting, recording, and analyzing experimental data to support ongoing research and development projects
Market Research
: Conduct market research to identify potential applications and market opportunities for algae-based products such as nutritional supplements, livestock feed, biofuels, and bioplastics.
Application Exploration
: Gather information on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products to help explore new applications for cultivated algae.
Administrative Support
: Perform general administrative tasks, including organizing files, preparing reports etc
Collaboration
: Work closely with the research and development team to support project goals and contribute to the success of our sustainability initiatives.
Education: Currently pursuing a _
degree in Chemistry_
Skills: Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with standard lab equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
