The Interior Designer Site Coordinator oversees the implementation of interior design projects at specific locations or sites. They ensure that design plans are executed according to specifications, timelines, and budget constraints. This role requires a combination of project management skills, design expertise, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Collaborate with interior designers to understand project requirements, design concepts, and client expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with project stakeholders.
Coordinate scheduling of activities, including installations, deliveries, and site inspections.- Oversee on-site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Supervise contractors, tradespeople, and installation teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide guidance as needed.
Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and progress reports.
Prepare and present project status reports, timelines, and financial summaries to stakeholders and management.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Portfolio showcasing successful interior design projects (preferred).
- Flexibility to travel to project sites and attend meetings outside of regular business hours as necessary.
Degree in architecture, interior design, construction management, or a related field.
- Excellent coordination and documentation skills. Effective in problem solving.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, and SketchUp- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
- Language communication: English and Bahasa
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM-6PM; may work some weekends due to construction progress- Amenable to work in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur
