We are seeking a creative and talented Designer to join our team. As a Designer, the candidate will have the opportunity to transform spaces and bring our clients visions to life with creating aesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces that exceed expectations. Lead the conceptualization and development of interior design concepts based on client requirements, project objectives and industry best practices.
Prepare and present design proposals including space planning, mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D renderings, material selection to client review and approval.
Revise drawings as necessary or as client dictates
Provide guidance and support to clients in the selection of fixtures, finishes and furnishings
Review and approve shop drawings, material samples and finishes to ensure they align with approved design concept.
Conduct site surveys and analyze existing space to gather essential information for design development.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously ensuring adherence to project schedule, budget and quality standard.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to coordinate design implementation and resolve any design issues during construction.
Provide leadership to resolve all technical/operational issues and design coordination on site
Provide adequate input/comment in term of practicality of the design, timeline, milestone achievement and key lessons/learning from experience
Stay updated on current design trends and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into projects
Bachelors degree in Interior Design or a related field
Proven working experience as a Designer/Interior Designer, preferably in a similar industry or firm
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or 3DMax or 3D modeling tools, Adobe photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of design principles and space planning
Excellent creativity and artistic skills with attention to detail
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and project stakeholders
A portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects is required
