Job Description- Provide expert consultancy on intellectual property rights, focusing on trademarks, copyright, and industrial design rights.
Conduct trademark searches and prepare detailed reports.- Draft arguments and responses to office actions.
Represent clients in hearings to address objections.
- Ensure timely responses to office actions and client inquiries, adhering to all deadlines.
Coordinate with the team to execute client instructions promptly and efficiently, meeting firm quality standards.- Write articles and engage in networking events to expand industry knowledge and contacts.
Stay informed about IP trends, legislative changes, and procedural updates, conducting research to clarify regulations.
- Plan and lead departmental projects, ensuring successful execution and achievement of objectives.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
- Candidates with intellectual property (IP) or legal industry experiences are preferred, prerequisite training will be provided to those without experience but whom are eager to learn while working in a conducive environment.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is a must. Basic Mandarin conversational, reading, and writing skills is a plus.- Initiative, responsible, team player and with positive working attitude.
Able to work with minimum supervision and assume job responsibility.
- With own transportation and willingness to travel when required
