Position Title: Incoming Quality Manager/ Supplier Quality Manager

• Salary Budget: Not more than RM 15,000

• Location: YTY Acheh (Address: Lot 15651, Kampung Acheh, 32000 Sitiawan)

• Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a degree in a chemistry-related field, over 7 years of experience in managing supplier quality (chemical raw materials), and strong leadership skills. The role requires travel to supplier sites across Peninsular Malaysia.

• Key Job Responsibilities:

Focus on assessing, monitoring, and managing the performance of YTY companys suppliers.

• Plan, manage and review YTYs supplier performance.

Evaluate and enhance the performance, quality, and compliance of suppliers.

• Ensure quality consistency is maintained as per COA/standards.

Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

• Build trust and improve collaboration with suppliers.

Describe and elaborate on the findings of the performance evaluation to all process stakeholders.

• Assemble all the parts of the evaluation into a coherent and complete document.

Rate current supplier maturity level and determine if a higher level of maturity is desired or required.

• Determine the gap between current state of supplier status and desired state. Produce a graphical representation of the gap and quantify if possible.

Produce tactical and strategic recommendations with sufficient details to allow for informed decision making (i.e., costs, benefits, risks, schedule, priority, implementation approach, etc.)

• Experience Desired:

7 years of experience in inspection of chemicals and packaging materials specialized in manufacturing industry.

• Working knowledge of international regulations and standards applicable to YTY including ISO

Technical experience within the areas of Material Controls and Quality Management Systems.

• Experience working with cross functions such as Quality Systems, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, Regulatory and Technical.

Project management experience.

• Minimum Qualification:

Bachelors degree in chemical.

• Experience within material controls and supplier quality audits.

Knowledge of quality management system and analysis.

• Strong understanding of materials and processes.

Strong presentation skills.

• Strong communication skills.

Potential travel up to 50%

• Lean/SPC/Six Sigma is an added advantage.

Solid computer skills required including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint

Pay: RM13,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
