The HR Manager will report directly to the Group Manager of Human Resources.
This role will serve as a strategic and direct partner to the HR functions in Malaysia, supporting SyAqua Group's business. The incumbent will be responsible for developing policy and directing and coordinating human resources activities, including employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, staff development and training, membership and license management, and employee services. The role also involves maintaining and enhancing the human resources mission and objectives through strategic planning and evaluating employee relations, as well as human resources policies, practices, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Benefit program ie Life, Health, Dental Insurance, Sick Leave, Annual Leave
- Recruitment Create and updating JD, Staff Requisition, Job advertisement, Candidate
- Selection, Interview, Offer Letter, Employment Agreement, Confirmation, Recruitment Channels
- Induction Plans in place and updated on a need a basis
- Learning and Development Plan and organizing Training Based on Department needs
- Annual HR Budget, Headcount Budget and forecasting
- Manage Workday system
- Conducting and managing Performance Management Systems and ensure Annual Appraisals are done
- Managing Offboarding & Exit Interviews
- Updating Company HR Policy & Processes
- Manpower Management for Malaysia
- Payroll Management through third party and ensuring statutory Compliance
- Fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement and well-being.
- Grievance & Workplace conflict Management
- Lead organizational changes & facilitate transitions efficiently
- HR Reporting and Dashboards, monthly and weekly
- Competitive benchmarking as and when required for Executive levels and above
- Long term planning for workforce management and development
- All HR Admin matters inclusive of licensing, memberships and permit renewals.
- Ad Hoc matters as and when required
Relevant Experience
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Human Resources / Industrial Organizational Psychology
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in Human Capital
- Held at least managerial responsibilities, and having managed a cross-cultural team
- Manufacturing experience, foreign workers management and strong HR generalist experience is significant advantage.
