Job Summary:The Human Resources Intern will be getting involved with a variety of tasks and responsibilities that contribute to the overall functioning of the HR department. This role requires an organized and detailed oriented individual with strong analytical skills, who can work collaboratively with other teams to create and execute HR operations that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Recruitment and Selection: Assisting with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and coordinating candidate communication.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Assisting in the onboarding process for new employees, preparing orientation materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring new hires have the necessary information and resources to integrate smoothly into the organization.
Employee Records and Documentation:
Assisting with maintaining employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee data, and updating HR databases and systems.HR Policies and Procedures:
Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Employee Engagement: Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing employee events, conducting surveys, and supporting employee recognition programs.
- Training and Development: Assisting in coordinating training programs, workshops, and seminars for employees, tracking attendance, and managing training materials.

Assisting in administering employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.Employee Relations:
Assisting with employee relations matters, including addressing employee concerns, conducting exit interviews, and participating in employee disciplinary processes.HR Projects: Supporting HR projects, such as performance management, diversity and inclusion initiatives, HR analytics, or any other initiatives that the HR department is working on.
- Compliance: Assisting with HR compliance activities, such as ensuring proper documentation, record-keeping, and adherence to labor laws and regulations.
Pursuing a degree in human resources, business, psychology or a related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in event planning can be advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members, clients, and vendors.- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in planning and execution.
Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.
- Familiarity with job portals or platforms is a plus.
Creativity and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected challenges.- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse individuals.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle dynamic change and work under pressure.
