Job Description
- Industrial Relations Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and labour unions or employee representatives. Negotiate labour contracts, manage conflicts, and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Workforce Planning & Optimisation: Collaborate with operations leaders to plan and forecast staffing requirements for production, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring the workforce meets business demand and seasonal fluctuations.
- Employee Engagement & Performance: Develop and implement strategies to boost employee engagement, reduce turnover, and manage performance within manufacturing plants and supply chain units. Focus on driving productivity through effective performance management systems and safety protocols.
- Talent Management & Development: Support recruitment, training, and development of employees in manufacturing and supply chain roles. Identify skills gaps and ensure employees are equipped with the training to meet operational demands.
- Change Management & Operational Support: Lead HR support for organisational changes within manufacturing and supply chain functions, ensuring smooth transitions as production processes, technologies, or structures evolve.
- Compensation & Benefits: Work with compensation teams to ensure competitive salary packages for employees in operational roles and design incentive programs that drive performance in manufacturing and supply chain.
- Compliance & Legal Support: Ensure adherence to labour laws, health, and safety regulations, and union agreements, minimising legal risk and promoting a safe working environment.
- Data-Driven HR Practices: Use HR analytics to track key workforce metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and labour costs. Provide insights to optimise workforce management and improve operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- At minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or any relevant field
- At least 5 years of working experience as a HR Business Partner
- Must have FMCG working experience
- Preferred if there is prior knowledge in handling Supply Chain & Manufacturing functions
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations and labour laws.
- Excellent communication skills in English
