You will be partnering with Managers across the Retail Services client group to provide effective HR advice and quality HR services and to help our Retail Services leaders to inspire and drive the best possible performance of the team. This role also acts proactively to lead and support regular and routine cyclical HR global activities and assists with HR expertise in the Asia Region, working closely with the global HR team and the respective initiative and COE owners.

Your EDGE assignment/You will

  • Assist HRBPs in regional area with operational HR transactions, including redundancy facilitation, grievance handling, and separation processes.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of HR policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for coordination with third-party employers in the region.
  • Contribute to the development of Human Resources KPIs and initiatives.
  • Partner with the global HR team and business leaders to identify people priorities and develop an integrated People Plan.
  • Act as a key HR contact and provide guidance to leaders within the client group.
  • Drive people discussions and execute workforce planning, talent succession, performance management, and coaching.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team in the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Support the business by enhancing employee engagement and integrating people plans with the broader group strategy.
  • Coach and develop leaders, manage people-related risks, and identify capability gaps within the client group.

Are you the one

  • Overall, 10 years of experience in HR with minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in HR business partnering. Experience with a commercial team is advantageous, highlighting your ability to align HR strategies with the organization's business goals and drive impactful HR initiatives.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment characterized by constant changes due to growth. You should be able to navigate through ambiguity, drive change management initiatives, and effectively implement HR strategies during periods of organizational change.
  • Experience in managing C-suite executives and senior management. You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships, influence decision-making, and provide strategic HR guidance to leaders at all levels.
  • Experience working in an environment with a diverse cultural background. Your understanding of different cultures and ability to adapt HR practices accordingly will contribute to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equality within our organization.
  • Proven ability to initiate and lead new HR projects. Your experience in driving innovative HR initiatives and successfully implementing new programs or processes will be highly valued.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience working with labour law and local best practices in Asia, with a preference for Malaysia, and the Philippines.
  • Ability to thrive in a hands-on and flat organizational structure. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, being involved in day-to-day HR operations, and actively contributing to strategic decision-making.
