Job Summary:
As the Health and Safety Officer at Ormond Group, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing health and safety standards within our catering operations for international schools and F&B outlets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of our staff and clients by implementing and overseeing comprehensive health and safety protocols. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing and updating policies, providing training sessions, and actively promoting a culture of safety awareness. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless and secure delivery of our catering services in compliance with international health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments specific to food and beverage operations.
- Develop, implement, and update health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the F&B catering industry, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Organize and conduct regular training sessions for F&B staff on health and safety protocols, allergens managements according to local and international standards, and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with relevant departments to address any identified deficiencies.
- Implement stringent allergen control measures to safeguard the well-being of students and customer with allergies, working closely with the F&B and school teams.
- Stay updated on international health and safety regulations pertinent to catering services, ensuring the company's adherence to all standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of safety-related activities, including risk assessments, training records, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
- Effectively communicate health and safety information to catering and school staff, promoting a culture of safety awareness and collaboration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
Proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer, with specific exposure to catering services for educational institutions.
In-depth knowledge of international health and safety regulations.
Strong communication, training, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Certification in occupational health and safety is advantageous.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
