Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HRSSC Analyst to assist the Senior HRSSC Specialist in managing and executing day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes within the shared services team.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations Support:

  • Assist in processing employee lifecycle transactions (which includes but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, transfer, assignments, employment pass, employment certification letters, HR queries, benefits and payroll operations) efficiently with high service standard and quality, within service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Help coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees including interns.
  • Manage employee data entry and updates within the HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the administration of payroll, benefits, and leave management, working closely with Senior HRSSC Specialist and the payroll and benefit team to ensure smooth processing.

2. Service Delivery & Employee Support:

  • Respond to employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits via ticketing systems or email, ensuring efficient and professional service.
  • Escalate more complex issues to Senior HRSSC Specialist as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining HR records and documents, ensuring they are up-to-date, organized, and compliant with internal controls and legal requirements.
  • Assist to provide user support for employees accessing HR systems and selfservice platforms

3. Process Improvement & Automation:

  • Collaborate with Senior HRSSC Specialist to identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.

4. Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to HR operations, such as data privacy and labor laws.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and analytics as required by management or stakeholders, to support HR decision making.

5. Work Visa Administrative Support:

  • Work closely with HR Service Delivery Specialist and the relevant stakeholders to provide work visa administrative support by assisting in preparing and submitting documents required for work visa applications, including personal information, employment contracts, and supporting documents, where necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience as HR Generalist who has strong passion for HR Operations
  • Candidates with start-up experience are highly preferred as this role requires someone who is adaptable, possess good problem-solving skills, and able to work in fast-paced & dynamic environments
  • Well versed in Employment Act 1955
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset
  • Reliable team player, energetic and have the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) is an added advantage
