What youll do:
HR Manager, for the Eaton-SIAEC joint venture is to provide the full spectrum of HR services including Recruitment & Selection, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management and Training & People development. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up HR system & process for the startup JV and maintaining HR operations in good shape to support business growth of the organization
Lead recruitment & selection activities as per hiring needs and budget; Be responsible for the whole staffing process including screening, selection, offering and on-boarding.
Oversees the full spectrum of payroll to ensure processes are executed accurately in a timely manner, and in compliance with local labor law and tax requirement.
Drive for effective performance management ensuring the performance management processes are applied consistently and completely; Providing guidance, counsel and support to managers on talent development as well as disciplinary actions.
Lead training needs analysis, training plan development and implementation based on business strategy and training budget; Keep training record and analyze training effectiveness.
Be the subject matter expert of HR policies, processes and systems; provide guidance and consultation to all employee levels to drive for effective execution.
Develop and maintain positive employee relations and engagement by effective employee communication channels, engagement activities, wellness initiatives and etc.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day people management and ensure regulatory compliance.
Establish good relationships with relevant industry players, e.g., HR practitioners/consultants and related government agencies and provide advise accordingly
Conduct labor cost related budgeting analysis to help Finance with timely and accurate labor cost forecast upon request
Oversee the daily workflow of the administrative function, such as office facilities management, and supervise the HR & Admin team.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, business administration or related field
5-8 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing or MNC environment; At least 3 years in managerial role
Experience of government liaison for company startup is preferred
Skills:
HR functional skills in recruitment, C&B, training and etc.
Familiar with local HR related regulations and polices
Excellent interpersonal skills including use of tact, judgment, and influencing.
Proven ability in counseling/advising in various employment-related matters.
Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook required; prior experience managing a HRMS preferred.
Knowledge of expatriate working visa application process is preferred
