Job Description

Recruitment and Staffing

  • Job Posting and Sourcing: Creating and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Candidate Screening: Reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Onboarding: Managing the new hire process, from preparing offer letters to conducting orientation and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.

Employee Relations

  • Conflict Resolution: Addressing workplace issues and resolving conflicts between employees and management.
  • Employee Engagement: Implementing initiatives to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Grievance Handling: Acting as the point of contact for employee concerns and complaints and ensuring they are addressed in a fair and timely manner.

Performance Management

  • Appraisal Management: Supporting the performance review process, ensuring managers conduct evaluations on time, and assisting with setting employee goals.
  • Coaching and Feedback: Providing guidance to managers on giving constructive feedback and assisting employees in improving their performance.
  • Employee Development: Identifying training and development needs and coordinating with the learning and development team to deliver necessary programs.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary Administration: Assisting with salary reviews, promotions, and managing payroll changes.
  • Benefits Coordination: Administering employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Employee Queries: Addressing employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.

Compliance and Legal

  • Labor Law Compliance: Ensuring that HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Policy Development: Assisting in creating and updating HR policies to ensure they meet legal requirements and align with business needs.
  • Internal Audits: Conducting audits on HR procedures and record-keeping to ensure compliance with regulations.

HR Administration

  • Employee Records Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, performance reviews, and any relevant legal documents.
  • Payroll & Leave Management: Local Payroll, leave tracking.
  • Documentation: Preparing and processing various HR documents, such as contracts, Promotional Letter and termination letters.

Learning and Development

  • Training Needs Analysis: Identifying gaps in employee skills and recommending training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Organizing Training Sessions: Coordinating with external trainers or organizing internal training sessions for skill development.
  • Tracking Progress: Monitoring employee participation and progress in training programs and adjusting programs as needed.

Employee Engagement and Retention

  • Engagement Surveys: Conducting employee engagement surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in the workplace.
  • Recognition Programs: Implementing recognition and reward programs to increase employee motivation and retention.
  • Workplace Culture: Promoting a positive work environment and ensuring the company's values and culture are reinforced.

Health and Safety

  • Workplace Safety Policies: Ensuring that the workplace complies with health and safety regulations, including overseeing workplace safety protocols.
  • Wellness Programs: Developing and promoting health and wellness initiatives to improve employee well-being.

Exit Management

  • Offboarding: Managing the offboarding process for employees leaving the organization, including conducting exit interviews, retrieving company assets, and processing final settlements.
  • Exit Interviews: Gathering feedback from departing employees and using it to improve retention and employee satisfaction.

HR Strategy Support

  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Generating reports on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, recruitment effectiveness) to support decision-making.
  • HR Initiatives: Supporting the implementation of broader HR initiatives like talent management, succession planning, or organizational development strategies.

Diversity and Inclusion (DEI)

  • Diversity Programs: Assisting in the development and promotion of diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive work environment.
  • Cultural Awareness Training: Supporting programs that promote cultural awareness and sensitivity within the workplace.
