Job Description

Job Title: Housekeeping
Location: Mahsa Avenue (Petaling Jaya)

  • Overview:

As a Housekeeping Executive at Urban Living, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the housekeeping department. You will ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Responsibilities:


Cleaning Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Ensure that all cleaning procedures are followed diligently.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities. Ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained at all times and place orders for replenishment as necessary.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that cleanliness standards are being met. Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and take corrective action as needed.

Guest Satisfaction: Monitor guest feedback related to housekeeping services and take appropriate measures to address any concerns or complaints. Strive to exceed guest expectations and enhance their overall experience at the hotel.

Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the housekeeping department budget. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests.

Team Communication: Foster open communication and teamwork within the housekeeping department as well as with other departments within the hotel. Coordinate with front desk, maintenance, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operation.
  • Qualifications:

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Year of Experience & Salary Range
0 - 2 years RM 1,800 min - RM 2,500 max
2-5 years RM 2,500 min - RM 4,000 max
5+ years RM 4,000 and above

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,
  • 00 - RM4,000.00 per month

    Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
