Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and baths under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.
Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
- Clean and tidy assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets.
Stock guest room amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens.- Ensure that all guest rooms are inspected thoroughly, and any maintenance issues are reported immediately.
Restock supplies such as coffee, tea, and water in guest rooms and public areas.
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stored after use.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.- Follow all health and safety regulations and policies.
Report any lost and found items to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests and team members.
- Qualifications & Experience
Willing to work on shift basis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices
High school diploma or equivalent.- Prior experience as a Housekeeping/Room Attendant or in a similar role is preferred
