Hotel maintenance service crew

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Service Crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities and equipment are in excellent condition. This role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to maintain the hotel's standards of safety, functionality, and appearance.

• Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.

• Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other hotel equipment.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring timely and efficient service.

• Troubleshoot and repair minor issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.

Assist in managing and coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs and projects.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of tools and supplies.

• Collaborate with the housekeeping and front desk teams to address any maintenance-related issues.

Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with the latest maintenance techniques and safety procedures.

• Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in maintenance or related fields is preferred.

• Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
