OVERSEAS JOB : Quantity Surveyor PQS / SQS (Cantonese Speaker)
Work location: based in HONG KONG
Work Visa: Company will provide Hong Kong Work Visa
Salary range:
- HKD 40,000 60,000 / month (Around MYR 23,000 34,000)
- Depending on the position eventually offered
Relocation support:
- Flight ticket valued up to HKD 2,000 (claim back from company)
- Hotel allowance up to HKD 600 / night for first 13 nights (claim back from company)
About the company:
The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. One of the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, Buildings, Port Works, Roads and Drainage, Site Formation and Waterworks.
Positions & Requirements:
Quantity Surveyor:
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience
PQS:
- 5+ years experience, and candidates are expected to be responsible for large-scale projects alone and complete the overall project management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost and variations estimates, interim payment applications and payment certification for subcontracts, materials and plants.
- Carry out measurement for the purpose of subletting, material ordering, variation estimates and final accounts.
- Prepare a contra-charge account against subcontractors.
- Assist in the collection and preparation of information and records for contractual claims and insurance claims.
- Assist in the preparation of completion job cost / income forecast.
- Assist in the preparation and settlement of Final Accounts for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts.
- Assist in the implementation of the requirements of the Manuals in respect of all Quantity Surveying functions.
Education Requirements: Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Language Requirements: English, Mandarin AND Cantonese
Added Advantage:
- Bonus points will be given to candidates with, work or project experience in large foreign companies or those in Singapore, the UK, and Australia. Experience in dealing with project EOT.
