Lead, drive, and execute winning strategies and transform the entire span of Bancassurance (Banca) business (Life / General) of the Region; to achieve continuous growth and no. 1 position in market share whilst ensuring profitability in line with the Company's goals and vision.

High level management/ coordination / collaboration. Drive and coordinate business performance related activities under all strategic projects under Etiqa and Maybank Group at the Region which encompass fostering strategic alliances between different Line of Business (LOB) of CFS. The same applies for (3rdParty) Banca partnerships. Capitalize on the synergy within the Maybank Group and delivering Maybank shared aspirations.
Lead and accountable for overall Banca sales/ marketing strategies at the Region (Retail, Commercial, AFC, Banca Partnership). Collaborate with Maybank RSM (including all LOB Heads) in creating a win-win situation for all stakeholders. Drive, establish and enhance an integrated tactical sales/marketing plans and activities, in line/ consistent with the set business objectives from HQ. Control business expenses and ensure that it is within the stipulated limit (cost-to income ratio) at all times.
Evaluate and review overall Region sales and campaign activities for effectiveness.
Defend and/ or expand market share at the Region.
Give advise on key Banca business performance indicators. Lead and facilitate discussions effectively whilst resolving conflicting viewpoints and guiding the discussion towards mutual agreement/ benefit.
Manage business dynamics within Etiqa Banca Region team (@ 10-30 staff strength) and Maybank Branches/ Centers @50-100 and Maybank branch sales distribution staff e.g. RM/ PFA/ CSE/ FSE/ SE/ BDE/ RM, etc. @ 50-100 staff.
In-depth understanding of con. sum needs and anticipate/ provide input on market trend/ latest update to Sr. Management.
Main liaison person for Banca business at the Region. To utilize all channels capabilities in order to creatively cross sell products with others and providing that competitive advantage to the company.
Maximizing talent and performance. Lead and transform Banca Region team IA/ CBM / Credit RIM/ Banca partnership RIM into high performing managers/ marketers.
Coach and share of best practice to optimize sales performance and develop leadership funnel/ succession planning.
Job Requirement
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree with at least 6 - 10 year(s) of working experience in related discipline.
Certified in PCEIA, TBE and CEILI. Preferably RFP or CFP or LOMA.
Analytical thinking and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
