Head of Sustainability

Summary

Manager of Sustainability will lead initiatives to promote sustainable practices within the renewable energy sector, focusing on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies. This role involves developing sustainability programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and engaging stakeholders to drive sustainable development.

Responsibilities

1. Sustainability Strategy: Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with organizational goals and best practices in renewable energy.

2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to sustainability regulations and standards, monitoring legislative changes impacting the renewable energy sector.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs, to promote sustainability initiatives.

4. Data Reporting: Analyze sustainability metrics and prepare reports to track progress and inform decision-making.

5. Project Oversight: Manage sustainability projects, ensuring timely completion within budget, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Renewable Energy, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

2. 10 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

3. Strong knowledge of sustainability practices, regulations, and reporting standards

4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
