We're searching for a driven and accomplished Head of Sales to lead our Malaysia team to new heights. You'll be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building high-performing teams. As a motivational leader, you'll inspire and coach your team to achieve their full potential. Additionally, you'll possess a data-driven approach to problem-solving and a collaborative spirit to drive success across departments.

Day in the Life of a Head of Sales

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, inspiring them to achieve their full potential and exceed performance targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise the sales process, enhance lead generation efforts, and improve lead qualification rates.
  • Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations and targets for the sales team, track and report progress.
  • Process Optimisation: Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes and workflows to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between the sales departments and the marketing, ops and product teams to align initiatives and achieve company goals.
  • Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and use insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimise processes.

Who You Are

  • A highly motivated and results-oriented sales leader with 5-8 years of experience. Experience leading and succeeding within the job board, staffing or recruitment agency industry is a strong plus.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets and building high-performing teams.
  • An inspiring leader who can coach and develop your team to their full potential.
  • A strategic thinker with experience in planning and optimising sales processes.
  • A data-driven problem-solver with a knack for identifying opportunities.
  • A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

How We Measure Success

You'll be instrumental in driving our success, and we track progress through several key metrics:

  • Revenue Growth: Your leadership will be directly tied to achieving and exceeding our ambitious quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: We'll look to you to generate a high volume of high-quality leads and implement strategies to effectively convert those leads into qualified sales opportunities and closed deals.
  • Client Retention & Growth: Your ability to foster strong client relationships and drive renewals & cross-sales will be essential. Our goal is to maintain high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service.
