We are currently looking for a talented Head of Sales & Business Development for an European MNC that specializes in EMS technologies and services.

the role
- Take full responsibility for achieving the company's revenue goals.
- Lead the entire business development process, from identifying potential leads to making initial contact, generating qualified leads, developing RFQs/RFPs/Proposals, assessing technical feasibility, conducting cost and pricing analysis, performing technical audits, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board on business strategies that will drive company growth.
- Develop and implement an annual business development strategy aimed at meeting revenue targets.
- Regularly review and refine this strategy, conducting post-mortem analyses, and updating the CEO and Board on progress.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and growth opportunities within the EMS sector, and advise the CEO on these insights.
- Monitor competitor activities and movements, providing relevant updates to the CEO.
- Collaborate with the R&D team on product development, including product teardowns, cost analysis, and proposing solutions for prospective clients. This includes evaluating the feasibility of product production in early customer discussions.
- Represent the company at trade shows and expositions, leading preparation efforts.
the requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales training or experience.
- Availability for regular business travel.
- Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in EMS/ electronics industry.
- Excellent planning & organizational skills.
