Role
- Gatekeeper during UAT phase, adhering to the quality standards before go-live
- Manage 2 teams (5 team members each team)
- Managing clients and stakeholders to adhere high standards of QA
Projects / Team
- All product teams have been rolling out selenium automation testing for the last 2+ years - they are adding new headcount and there is a need to hire a dedicated Head of QA & Automation Testing to lead the function
- 150 + engineers working across 6 core products
Must Have
- Automation Tools (Selenium, Postman, Cypress, Katalon, TestNG etc.)
- Scripting languages like Python, Java, JavaScript etc
- Stakeholder and client management
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position
- Managed a team size of 5 (minimum)
Nice to have
- Banking / Fintech / Insurance experience
Level
- This role reports to CTO
- 10 years+ in tech with (last 3-5 years being in a manager position)
- This is the most senior QA / Tester role in the organisation
- As this is a leadership role you will not be hands on engineering but you will still need to be able to pass an automation testing technical test.
Location
- Office is in Mid Valley / Bangsar South - Full Office 5 days a week
