Oversees the overall performance of Marketing and Sales in all ReGen Rehab International sites.
Sets strategic directions for the Marketing and Sales Department to meet organization's financial and growth objectives.
Drives and directs the departments in developing short and long term goals and plans for the departments to fulfill the organization's objectives.
Plans and develops budgets and resources for the organization.
Manages and administers budget and resources allocated for the department in an effective manner.
Obtains accurate market data and presents clear analysis to the leadership team as part of the strategic planning process.
Identifies new business opportunities, develops relationships with potential business partners (government and private hospitals, doctors, insurers, government bodies, corporate clients, NGOs etc.), and assist with the negotiation of terms.
Leads the Marketing and Sales Department in the implementation of quality standards and ensures the quality system is maintained at all times.
In conjunction with appropriate department personnel, lead the development and implementation of department operating plans that supports the larger organization plan in the areas of Marketing, Sales & Branding. Items to address includes but is not limited to:
Staffing levels
Staff recruitment and retention
Staff competence and performance
Operating budget
Quality Indicators
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the operation of the organization and assigned departments.
Leads and supports all Marketing and Sales staff and ensures they are provided with a good and conducive working environment.
Participates in administrative meetings.
Maintains department records.
Oversees contracting and performance of marketing contractors.
Any other duties as assigned by the CEO/COO.
Clinical
Develops and ensures implementation of effective and efficient preadmission assessment.
Monitors quality indicators and holds staff accountable for performance.
Monitors practices to ensure adherence to professional and legal standards.
Identifies the opportunity for new clinical programs based on community needs and participates in the development of new clinical programs.
Functions as a Clinical Liaison when necessary, meets specific expectations in terms of sales calls, tracking referrals, assessing patients and overseeing the transference of patients to ReGen facilities
Resource Management
Determine staffing requirements for Marketing and Sales department.
Oversee hiring of competent and qualified staff in assigned departments.
Ensures adequate staff are working at all times.
Oversees the development and expansion of learning opportunities and skills of departmental staff.
Leads the managers in developing manpower and succession plans for the business development department.
Develops effective plans to build and sustain a team of competent and skilled staff team.
Facilities Management
Responsible to ensure adequate facilities and equipment are available that will enable the assigned departments to achieve its objectives.
Ensures departments meet environment of care requirements on an ongoing basis.
Quality Assurance Program
Responsible for ensuring provision of high quality performance in assigned departments.
Develops, initiates, monitors and evaluates quality indicators in assigned departments.
Reports quality outcomes to appropriate hospital and Medical Staff committees.
Training
Oversees planning, conducting and coordinating of in-service education, training and orientation programs for staff within area of responsibility.
Oversees development and maintenance of department and patient teaching resource material.
Service Delivery
Cultivates exemplary patient/customer service throughout organization.
Leads the team in implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance the services delivery standards of the division
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (including licensure, certification and other job-related credentials)
Education / Professional Qualifications
A Degree in Business, Marketing or associated field OR; minimal 10 years of professional working experience in relevant fields
Additional certification in business/marketing is an added advantage
Professional Experience / Minimum Requirements
Significant professional experience in the area of sales, marketing and/or business development.
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Good knowledge of written and spoken English
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Experience in the healthcare environment
Minimum 5+ years of management experience supervising sales staff
