About Our Client
Our client is a company that is one of the largest player in the FMCG/Retail segment and is currently continuously expanding in Malaysia. They're looking for talented individual to join and grow with the business.
Job Description
- Oversee daily financial operations within the company.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, and working capital and ensure accuracy of statutory financials and analyze periodic company performance.
- Assess and provide insights on channel pricing strategies, track, review targets for channels, and providing updates to management.
- Oversee and report on the annual budget, highlighting variances to management.
- Manage regular financial reporting for the Headquarter Global Finance team.
- Implement SAP improvements, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Represent the company with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and other official entities.
- Minimize company risk and receivables, provide aging reports, and manage credit risk with distributors and key accounts.
- Support the GM, Region Finance, and HQ Finance on various needs.
- Leading the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
- Min Degree in Finance & Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification preferred (CPA, CIMA,ACCA etc)
- Big 4 audit experience is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, data-driven, and hands-on approach.
- 10+ years in accounting with team management experience.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and business awareness.
- Preferred experience in MNCs or startups with FMCG experience in sales partnering.
- Strong analytical abilities for management reporting and variance analysis.
- Strong technical accounting to lead the team and driving business figures.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong customer skills and results-oriented communication with all levels.
