Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture of our payment systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and reliable. Team Building and Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Product Development: Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver cutting-edge payment solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance and testing practices to ensure the highest standards of product quality. Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into the company's technology stack as appropriate.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between the engineering team and executive leadership, providing regular updates on project status, technical challenges, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a fast-paced tech environment, preferably in the payments or fintech industry.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and infrastructure. Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire a high-performing engineering team. Strong mentorship and team development skills.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
