Our client is a large MNC freight forwarding company in Shah Alam. In line with their aggressive growth in Malaysia and the region, they are expanding their internal business development workforce.
The primary objective of the Head of Sales is to drive the company's revenue and gross profit growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
This role involves leading the sales team, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives.
Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and ensure their achievement
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance
Focus on increasing the company's revenue and gross profit by maximizing sales opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with company objectives
Ideally, you should be in a position currently to move on to becoming a Head of a larger BD team and taking on a management role with the company. You probably have minimum 7 years of working experience in logistics or supply chain sales and enjoy leading teams and engaging customers.
