Job Description

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the top and bottom-line objectives of the branch.
  • Drive sales and lead the team to meet and exceed branch objectives.
  • Generate new business opportunities within the tourism industry in China.
  • Strengthen business relationships with suppliers, industry players, and customers.
  • Establish and manage effective client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers to promote both existing and new products.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with relevant government organizations (NGOs) associated with the tourism ministry.
  • Initiate and oversee the implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales and activities reports to the Head Office.
  • Monitor and analyze job performance metrics to measure productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide support, coaching, and training to team members.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in the tourism industry.
  • Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in travel and hospitality-related fields.
  • Proficiency in Global Distribution System (GDS) ticketing.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Established and strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Well-developed contacts with relevant government organizations.
  • This position will be based on Guangzhou, China.
