Job Purpose:The main purpose of this job is to lead and oversee the management of both sales and workshop operations for light and heavy commercial vehicles. This role requires leadership in driving sales, managing workshop functions, and leveraging expertise in commercial vehicles. The Branch Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless coordination of sales activities, workshop operations, and customer relations to optimize overall branch performance.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets for both light and heavy commercial vehicles. Monitor revenue generation and profitability, ensuring a well-balanced product portfolio.
Oversee the efficient functioning of the workshop for commercial vehicles. Monitor service delivery, repair turnaround times, and customer satisfaction with workshop services.
- 3. Customer Relationship Management
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing customers and corporate organizations. Measure customer satisfaction through feedback mechanisms and assess the impact on repeat business and workshop service utilization.
- 4. Workshop Leadership and Reporting
Lead, motivate, and develop a cohesive team for both sales and workshop operations. Monitor staff performance, provide training as needed, and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Possess and impart in-depth product knowledge to the team. Ensure that the sales and workshop staff are well-versed in the features and benefits of commercial vehicles for brands like UD, Foton & Bison, contributing to enhanced customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Qualification and Education:
Diploma/Degree in Automotive Engineering/Sales/Marketing/Business Development or equivalent.
Experience
- 5 years and above of experience preferably in the automotive industry. Have managerial role experience and demonstrate expertise in workshop and sales management.
