This job is responsible for improving the technology infrastructure, application, desktop and service desk support as well as effectively develop and implement strategies needs of the company. Ensuring business SLAs are defined for IT delivered services for both internal and external providers.
Oversee IT Operations and supervise systems and IT staff for Altel Holdings
- Develop strategy as it relates to the organizations IT infrastructure (computer, information systems, security, communication systems)
Develop, consolidate, manage and track the IT departments annual budget- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring system performance
Create processes and standards for selection, implementation and support of systems
- Consult senior level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology and extend the IT services to ABG
Provide direction, guidance and training to IT staff- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Company to the incumbent
Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Information Systems or related field or relevant experience in Information Technology- Minimum 8 years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams and overseeing large information technology projects
Excellent understanding of cloud computing (Telco and IT cloud), security network, system administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunication systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across entire organization
* Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of project management principles
