Main Job responsibilities
To assist in managing and supervising a team of drivers to ensure that the Haulage unit operates efficiently and effectively.
Involve in overall operation of the haulage department.
To monitor drivers movement on daily basis.
To prepare for haulage planning, confirming clients orders, checking trucks GPS and drivers locations.
Updating clients with ETA (estimated time of arrival) for both collection point and delivery point.
Communicate and updating to customer on the delivery and collection information and status.
Collecting the complete DO (Deliveries Orders) from drivers on the next working day upon the deliveries completion.
Company representative for Customs related matters.
Liaison person for MIDA related matters.
Liaison person for APAD (formerly known as SPAD), Puspakom and JPJ matters.
Assist in organizing and overseeing all safety checks and routine vehicle checks, adhering to both company and statutory requirements.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Logistic / Transportation or equivalent.
Able to multitask.
Cope well under pressure.
Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Haulage System.
Preferably specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
