In this position you will....
provide paralegal support across a wide range of tasks to the Group Legal and the Company Secretarial function.
You will be responsible for
- Assisting Group lawyers to prepare documentation including legal advice, memorandums, presentations, and training
- Reviewing and drafting legal documentation such as non-disclosure agreements, contract addendums/extensions and contract renewals and terminations
- Conducting research and drafting reports and summaries of research
- Managing small department/team projects and liaising and coordinating with external parties to follow up on business projects
- Compiling, preparing, and maintaining proper files/records of relevant documentation such as Board papers, minutes, etc
- Preparing and filing notices and documentation and supporting know your customers due diligence processes
- Supporting department and corporate record retention and maintenance including assisting with the design of department systems and processes
- Assisting with system implementation and rollout
- Maintaining the contract repository and other management information databases including assuring quality and completeness

You will require the following qualifications and skills
- Law degree holder with prior experience gained from in-house role
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and exceptional legal knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills and able to thrive in a fast-pace setting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite (e.g., Power Point, Excel, Word, MS Project)
