We're looking for a Group Accountant & Junior Accountant to involved in the month-end closing process, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of monthly management reports. Additionally, you will compile monthly analysis data for the Group and its subsidiaries. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the preparation of audited financial reports and tax computation schedules, as well as supporting the preparation of the annual company budget and quarterly group financial reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the Group's daily financial operations.
- Review and analyze monthly and year-end financial reports.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of transactions and reporting, provide technical accounting guidance, and implement process improvements as needed.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reports and tax filings.
- Review documentation managed by the accounting team, including tax estimate forecasts; oversee the company's taxation affairs and liaise with external tax advisors and agents.
- Lead the annual external audit process: review financial report packages prior to submission to auditors and address audit queries on behalf of Management.
- Assist in managing and following up on transfer pricing documentation.
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements for the Group.
- Develop and maintain departmental budgets, cost tracking, and control reports.
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Finance and/or Management.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- A member of professional bodies i.e. MIA/MICPA/CPA/ACCA/ICAEW, with past audit experience
- Minimum 5-7 years work experience, with track record in financial and management reporting
- Prior experience in the retail/FMCG industry is an added advantage
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of ERP system, preferably SQL
- Strong technical knowledge and highly analytical
