To assist the Chief Financial Officer with the financial strategy, management and control of the Group including financial planning and budgetary control, financial projections and development of financial policy to achieve the strategic plans of the Group.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements e.g Companies Act, Bursa Listing Requirements, MFRS, tax legislation, etc
Undertake financial review and planning of new project and investments.
Involve in directing and implementing financial and accounting systems, policies and procedures that contribute to good commercial management of the Group's business and ensure sound internal controls are in place.
Assist in reviewing the areas of cash and banking management, banking facilities, foreign exchange exposure and working capital management.
Liaise with Company Secretaries, Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers and Government bodies as and when required.
Project lead in due diligence exercises and familiar with merger and acquisitions as well as corporate restructuring.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a professional Accounting qualification such as MICPA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW
A member of MIA
Must be familiar with Financial Reporting Standards, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Securities Commission Rules & Regulations & Companies Act
At least 10 years experience in a PLC or MNC of which at least 5 years holding a senior finance position
Background or experience in Big 4 accounting firm is an added advantage
A strong team player with good interpersonal skill and able to work with all level of management from different companies within the Group
A proactive leader with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
