About The Position
Global Treasury Senior Assistant, reporting to Global Treasury Manager and assisting the Regional Operations and Finance Senior Manager, is responsible to support regional reporting to Global Treasury unit, will be based in Penang, Malaysia
The successful candidate has key responsibilities in the following areas:
- Lead the uploading of payments (including partner disbursements) on bank platform upon confirmation that all documentation is duly processed, and balances maintained for seamless office requirements;
- Ensure timely updating of bank databases including signatories while maintaining efficient follow ups for all Asia region office banks;
- Assist in Asia Region ticketing payment process monitoring by ensuring staff requests are in accordance with the ABC travel policies and directives;
- Monitor and ensure timely monthly replenishment of the Asia Credit Card;
- Maintain and update a summary of bank details for Asia region;
- Assist in the process of opening a new bank account and application of other bank services;
- Maintain payment schedules and all related unpaid files & bank files;
- Assist to consolidate all the country office information related to Monthly Cashflow, Rolling Forecast, Petty Cash and Bank status report to GTU;
- Support the GTU in developing documents for the region such as SLA and Regional Guidelines;
- Support the Credit card program and the Credit card analyst for the SAP Concur Unit in all activities related to the Asia region
- Support in Audit documentation related to bank confirmations and any other audit related activities;
- Updating, maintaining and follow up the imprest levels and fund requests for all Asia region offices;
- Other duties assigned by the Global Treasury Unit from time to time.
Requirements
This job might be for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:
- Possess a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any other related field;
- At least Two (2) years of relevant work experience in a closely related field such as accounting, banking, finance, economics;
- Basic knowledge in cashflow, foreign currency and forecasting are added advantage;
- Proficiency in English language both written and spoken is essential to work effectively with other national and cultural backgrounds;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office in Excel, Power Point, Words;
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced agile team

This is a
Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position and WorldFish offers a competitive remuneration package including comprehensive benefits (but not limited to) insurance coverage for staff and eligible dependents, employer provident fund contribution, paid leave, and others. The duration of the contract will initially be for a
one-year period with possibility for extension, depending on funding and performance.
