Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Global Supply Chain Executive, Purchasing to be based in Penang, Malaysia.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Supply Chain Executive to join our global Supply Chain team and contribute to our procurement and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) procurement for EMEA and US regions.
- Conduct weekly follow-ups and placement of Purchase Orders (PO) to CMO suppliers, aligning with projected requirements at warehouses
- Ensure optimal balance between inventory levels, including Safety Stock (SS), and future demand by analyzing Orders and Forecasts.
- Monitor Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and Economical Order Quantity (EOQ), challenging them on an ongoing basis to optimize inventory management.
- Maintain optimum inventory balance within defined boundaries, guarding against calculated outliers and arbitrary set parameters.
- Coordinate replenishment activities for regional distribution centers in Spain, Italy, China, and other locations.
Suggested candidate profile
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the medical device sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) management.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles, including MOQ, EOQ, and Safety Stock.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
