Global Finance Services operates GSKs global finance processes, delivering our ambition for patients through best-in-class finance services (P2P, C&C, O2C and TPF). We partner and interact with enterprise-wide users (all global ERP markets) through our process and user experience teams based across four global finance hubs (Europe, India, KL and Costa Rica).
This role reports directly into Global Head of CI Mentoring and will be responsible for the delivery of our Continuous Improvement Mentoring strategy for a region/hub. The role leads a team of 1 direct report, and interacts with a wide range of stakeholders, including Global Finance, GPOs across GFS and our Tower Teams, Digital Accelerator, and their peers in the GFS Enabling Teams.
This role is accountable for engaging with individuals and teams across a whole GFS region on the subject of CI mentoring and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of GFS CI Mentoring programme which is aligned to deliver our Ahead Together priority of a new way of working across GFS teams globally.
They will deliver and continuously improve the approach to initial CI bootcamp for all GFS teams in their region, and the ongoing mentoring programme to ensure the definition and embedding of a CI mindset in our GFS process delivery teams. The role is critical to the delivery of impactful initiatives including:
Embedding our #AheadTogether culture and defining GFS culture of continuous improvement, service delivery and user experience
Identifying and working with the Engagement & Experience lead and other Enabling Teams leaders to embed the use of CI governance and tooling across GFS
Delivering and evolving our CI IGNITE Communities with the Engagement & Experience team
Delivering in hub CI Mentoring locally and from the CI specialist in each location
Oversee programs to build employee awareness, knowledge, and engagement through thoughtful, innovative ideas strengthening one Finance and companys culture.
Work closely with local stakeholders, regional and global colleagues to locally develop and tailor communications, engagement, and capability building activities aligned to corporate strategy and messaging.
Develop the CI specialists and coach them to achieve Black Belt status by end 2025

University Graduate
Post graduate qualification in Continuous Improvement recognized methodology eg. Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt
Business acumen and leading across a matrix organisation.
Strong team engagement and mentoring
Excellent communication skills at all levels across the organisation
Experience working with client groups with ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at senior levels
Experience working in cross-functional teams and across a matrix environment
Strong team building and influencing skills
Ability to establish a high level of credibility and forge strong working relationships with senior internal and third-party stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Significant experience working in a large global matrixed organisation.
Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical Industry experience
Experience of working with and delivering results with outsourced providers
