Key responsibilities

Intercompany Processing, Settlement, Recharges and Billing

• Responsible to ensure completeness of monthly intercompany process including preparation of requesting payment, posting allocation and open items clearing on receipts and payments, perform monthly recharges and posting and agreement on intercompany transaction between entities.
• Responsible to ensure completeness of month end intercompany activities including, perform intercompany reconciliation on SAP system vs. internal matching system (ICMS) and posting of foreign currency revaluation, ensuring intercompany AR and AP balances to other entities and ensure completeness of intercompany supporting.
• Liaise with other regions and within the region to balance intercompany at month end.
• Responsible to monitor intercompany unagreed listing and follow-up on open items and escalate queries and resolve outstanding issues.
• Analysis of intercompany costs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with business, AP & AR departments to resolve intercompany issues.
• Responsible for preparation of monthly intercompany reporting including, preparation of notes to BPC for Financial Reporting consolidation, Balance Sheet reconciliation, aging status update for Performance Review Meeting and Statutory intercompany statement for audit purposes.
• Acting as gatekeeper for any non-compliance request or activities in relation to intercompany process.
• Assist all company stakeholders, local finance team and business partners with any intercompany queries which may arise.
• Provide support in the improvement of processes and practices across company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications and skills

• Professional Certificate, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Financial Accounting.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines and displays initiative.
• Ability to understand, listen and build relationship with stakeholder, local finance team and business partners.
• SAP FI/CO experience an advantage.
• Able to work effectively in a complex (matrix) and fast-paced environment.
