General Manager

Overview:

As the General Manager of Information Technology, you will oversee all aspects of our companys IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our technological systems to support our business objectives. You will lead a team of IT professionals, manage IT budgets, and collaborate with other departments to implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with company goals.

• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and security of all IT systems, including networks, servers, and software applications.

• Project Management: Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

• Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party vendors and service providers.

• Compliance and Security: Ensure IT systems comply with regulatory requirements and implement security measures to protect company data.

• Budget Oversight: Develop and manage IT budgets, optimizing expenditures while maintaining high standards.

• Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of successfully managing IT teams and projects in a corporate environment.

In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud technologies.

Experience with enterprise software applications and IT security protocols.

Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving departmental and organizational goals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and team members.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are a plus.
